Jem + Bea. A couple of months ago I saw a moving post on Dominique's personal Instagram account where she talked about her mum and the drive that her mum gave her. Today being Mother's Day, it seemed the perfect opportunity to ask Dom about her mum, herself and her thoughts on gender equality.
Being a strong woman does not mean that we need to hide who we are on the inside, to confirm to traditional stereotypes of what strength looks and feels like, it’s about being comfortable in our skin, confident in our skin and embracing our feminine characteristics."
When you ask a person to describe a "strong woman", they might tell you a story about a person they know who climbed to the top of her career ladder or a woman who stands up for what she believes in. They might describe a woman who selflessly puts the needs of others before her own in either her professional or personal life. But, to me, there are other, equally inspiring examples of strength.
We are super excited here at Beyond the Stork as Wild Hearts Wonder has joined our family! The Wild Hearts Wonder collection contains a range of whimsical cushions, prints and wallpaper which has been created to ignite children's imaginations and encourage a love of nature. The unique print stories are hand-painted and digitally printed enabling you to see every brush stroke. Today we are speaking to the lovely Emily, one half of the creative geniuses behind this stunning brand.
Earlier this year we were delighted to welcome The Nappy Society to the Beyond the Stork family. This week sees the arrival of a new product from The Nappy Society - Original and Compact inserts in a beautiful, neutral Sand colour. We thought this would be a good opportunity to have a chat with Gemma from The Nappy Society and find out a bit about her and the brand.
